My massage journey started in 2005 when I decided to attend the massage therapy program at Kikkawa College. I Graduated in 2007, becoming an RMT. I quickly left Canada to discover the land of New Zealand and see what new skills I could pick up and learn on my adventures living abroad.
I came back to Canada in 2009 and since then have been actively exploring, learning and searching out new approaches and techniques to further help my clients.
In about 2013, I discovered Myofascial work and became obsessed. Since then I have really delved into the world of fascia and all that it entails. My technique and approach has evolved into a fascial focus to bring about a more dynamic change to the tissue where the muscle and fascia are being treated at the same time. It is a more focused and slow approach to massage therapy but the effects to the tissues are longer lasting and can have a greater change overall.
This approach is great for treating the fascia, musculature, scar tissue and adhesions from injury and surgeries, pregnancy - pre and post natal, nervous system issues, TMJ issues, headaches, chronic pain and chronic injuries, chronic compensation patterns from injury or day to day habits, stress, anxiety and relaxation.
In 2020 I did a full year at the Canadian college of osteopathy, that year has greatly influenced how I treat and gave me a new direction to continue my education. I learned a lot of new techniques in that year that I immediately applied to my practice. Giving me even more knowledge in areas such as structure and alignment issues, lower back and pelvic issues, Craniosacral therapy, concussion treatments and the ability to asses and treat in new ways.
In 2022, after working in other peoples clinics for about 15 years, I finally went out on my own and started my own business! I hope to provide you with a safe, relaxing space to help you and your body reach the changes that your are looking for.
